About Redcliffe Scottish Pipe Band

Founded in August 1953, the Redcliffe Scottish Pipe Band began with just four pipers and quickly grew, bolstered by many ex-servicemen joining its ranks. Over the decades, the band has proudly represented the community, achieving both local and national recognition. With only 3 out of 17 members being Scottish, the band showcases a rich tapestry of cultural diversity while remaining a steadfast symbol of Scottish heritage in the region.

Every year, we lead the march on Anzac Day in Redcliffe and support a variety of charity and historical events across the Peninsula and Caboolture area. One of our most cherished traditions is hosting Ceilidhs (pronounced "kay-lees"), vibrant events filled with Scottish music, dancing, and performances, including Highland Dancers. With a rich history and deep community involvement, the Redcliffe Scottish Pipe Band continues to uphold the traditions of Scottish music and culture with pride.
